Stevens & Malone, PLLC

WimberleyArts.org is thrilled to announce the creation of a new Wimberley Boot, made possible through the generous support of Stevens & Malone, PLLC, located at 150 FM 3237 Wimberley.  Stevens & Malone has proudly served the community since 2007.

We are currently seeking experienced, creative, and talented artists to bring their vision to life on this unique public art piece.

​

The selected artist will design and paint a custom boot that incorporated the following elements below listed in or of importance.

​

• The work, Wimberley, written somewhere and "A Little Piece of Heaven" scripted across the horizon.

• Have the major roads (12, 3237, 2325, 32, Devil's Backbone) windinng through the design.

• Intersection of 12 & 3237 have the company logo of a tree (not the company name as restricted)

• Have a few local sites such as Veterans Memorial Plaza/Emily Ann Park/ Wimberley Texans's Hight School/Blue Hole/ and Jacob's Well.

• Mark where county lines are located.

• Scales of Justice on the back of the boot and a bronze colored toe.

Artists with a strong portfolio in large-scale public art and storytelling through imagery are encouraged to apply!

ARTIST'S COMPENSATION

​

A stipend of $3000 will be awarded to the selected artist.

​

*$1500 upon commission award

*$1500 upon completion of the project

​
